Actually, if the sustained foci were a "mental illusion", it would work
precisely well as it isn't directly relying "vision" in the normal sense.
However, the LBD (see the other post for longer details) idea would have
flexibility in that it could be hooked up to a computer system and have
images "flash carded" across it appropriately.
