I need some help answering a couple questions about the only TWO SR products
I don;t own - DMZ, and Sprawl Maps.

1 - Are the maps in DMZ laid out with Squares, Hexes, or Other shapes?

2 - Same question, except for Sprawl Maps.

3 - What scale are the maps printed in? 25mm? 28mm

Thanks.

Dots, in a roughly hexagonal pattern, if you play connect the dots. ;)

Ditto as DMZ

>3 - What scale are the maps printed in? 25mm? 28mm

Paolo says small. Too small for his SR minis.

According to Steven A. Tinner, at 17:51 on 29 Aug 99, the word on
the street was...

None of the above. Imagine a hex grid, and place a little, six-pointed
star (like the one on your keyboard, above the "8" key) at every corner of
every hex. Then remove the hex grid. That's what the DMZ maps have. If
you've seen BattleTroops, it's the exact same thing.

(The stars are called "dots" by the rules, and characters move from dot to
dot by spending Movement Points. Weapon ranges are figured out by counting
dots.)

> 2 - Same question, except for Sprawl Maps.

Same. The only thing is that DMZ maps have stars outside the buildings,
while the Sprawl Maps maps don't. This makes the latter rather useless for
DMZ games if you want the characters to go outside buildings as well as
inside them...

> 3 - What scale are the maps printed in? 25mm? 28mm

There's 2.5 cm between two dots, which the rules say is two meters. That
puts the scale at 2.5 / 200 = 1:80. This scale would make an average,
standing man (1.80 m tall) a 22.5 mm figure -- useable for 25/28 mm
figures (which are, strictly speaking, 1:72 and 1:64 scale, respectively).
