What, on the grounds he would understand women better? Hmm - I
did all my trying to get into women's pa...erm, minds, years ago - I'd
say I'm less empathic towards them these days, now I'm engaged/settled
down. Sure, I understand one particular woman pretty well, but not
women in general _so much_ anymore....
I've played women before, and didn't find it too much of a problem - I
mean, in a RPG, everyone's usually a bit of a weirdo anyway! I mean,
how many RL people have a) a mysterious figure from their past
with a vendetta against them; b) a propensity for either turning invisible,
breaking milspec computer security systems or a PAC on a groin mount?
Like, none, yes? In a typical shadowrun game....well, that kinda pulls in
everyone, yes? ;-)
The other point that occurs to me, is, how do you justify *anyone* playing
a meta - surely an Elven viewpoint on life would be far more different to
that of a human than only the gender gap?
