That would make for a high magic campaign. If you look up history of
photography there were 3 types that showed "auras", Ledbetter, Kirilian, and
whoever the other guy was. Considering the lack of magical equipment in SR,
I would (as a GM) try to make it an anchored spell on an item (perhaps a
limited version of Increased Intelligence to penetrate illusions, etc.) Once
you let it be easier to Astrally Perceive, etc. the game mechanics can
quickly get out of hand! Remember something astrally active can be affected
by things hanging out there.

Shadowbeat. Long out of print and I wouldn't pay more than $5 dollars for it
(unless you really plan to have a rocker and a reporter).
The higlights are steadicam and the advanced image processor (like a
gyromount/smartlink system for cameras, just use the same rules for now) and
Open Tests for Impact (how good the song/picture is, with a page of
modifiers you may as well make up). It's a little more complicated for a
reporter (filing the story, etc.) and in SR they have the shortest lifespan
of any archetype.

It has NO RULES for dealing with magic (except to say that manipulating
people is really frowned on, so if you Control Emotions you are the new
Milli Vanilli) and is similar for altering photographs (if you get caught).
