Density g/cm^3 Melting Point (degrees Celcius)
Osmium 22.58 3033
Iridium 22.55 2447
Platinum 21.44 1769
Rhenium 21.02 3186
Tungsten 19.25 3422
Uranium 19.05 1135
Osmium is the densest material, followed by Iridium. Tungsten stuck in my
head for its outstanding hardness and temperature properties, as it
possesses the highest melting point of all the unalloyed metals.
Though of course, as far as bullet penetration goes, there is a certain
point whereat penetration is more dependent upon kinetic energy than bullet
hardness.
