Greet's Chummers....
I've been Following the AI/Magic thing for a while now and have a
few Comments of my own...One, I can't cast spells in the Matrix..AI would
not beable to cast spells ether...And if it could how can you tell the
diffrents between a spell and a program..There both the same..A Pattern of
commands that make energies (be they Magical or Eletrical) do things..
A program and a formula are one in the same...The diffrence is that a
program can't effect the "real world" with out something to control to
in the "real world" (ei. A robot, Camera, and such). While a Spell can
affect the "real world" and the Astral realm, but not the Matrix..Only
the real world componects...CPU, Decks, Cameras, and Such...That's All.
I think this whole argument is useless. I have yet to see an AI...I know
there is a lot of Reseach going on, but only one story I have hear about
AIs seems true...Why would a AI want to cast spells in the First place?
Now about Matrix Spirits...I think that would be possable...But
that would still be an AI...I mean what is a Spirit...A creature of
magical energies that has gained Senteince...An a AI is a Program
that has gained Senteince also..What's the Diffrents?...By the way
did you ever see this spirit see it in the Meta plane or not?
Now about computer creating spell...It would not be poosable..
You may put Formulas in to the compute and some one can learn from it..
But you can't have it creat one...I mean a Formula is only a energy
focas...It help direct your energys in certain ways..
Well that all I have to say at this Time..Comment, Flames, ect.
wanted...I like seeing My view get massacure..heheheheh
