Wow, Carter and Huth finally agreed on something. Maybe Israel and Syria
will unite tomorrow under one flag. :)

Well, I skimmed through the whole post. I'll comment in detail
tomorrow, after I've had time to re-read the FASA rules and do some
number running, but here's what has struck me thus far:

Why is Combat Pool based on Reaction, rather than skill or some attribute?

Node Autosuccesses--> I was under the impression that autosuccesses were
passe' in SR2. Does the node still need to achieve at least one success.
If not, then the security scale just went way up.

The Decker is not restricted to persona bod rating when resisting damage.
No one else gets to ignore this limitation. Is this the sign of a kinder,
gentler Huth? :) No, really, I mean it :):):)

Finally, just a tenny question: At one point a TN was "Force-Hardening".
Isn't that a holdover from the illustrious Nightstalker's Mage Daze? :)

Response to J Roberson's questions.

Actually I did most the work, but Steve helped me with the very important
groundwork.

I'll be waiting.

First of all, Reaction is an attribute. Now the reason I made the Matrix Combat
Pool based off of Reaction is because the old Hacking Pool was Computer +
Reaction so Computer went to Hacking Pool and Reaction to Combat Pool.

This is to reflect Node Threshold. Instead of telling the decker he as to
ignore his first x successes, I just added them to the system or IC roll.

No defensive test in shadowrun restricts the number of pool dice that may be
used.
