Steve!:)) about 5 years ago in an old issue of Scrawls from the Sprawls
that I found. It deals with various Goods and Services in the SR world and
what mega corps have their brand name plastered on those things. It's a
great article for fleshing out your world...
"Oh, and you need to buy a new Washer and Dryer. try and get a Fuchi brand
this time!" or some such drek...;]
Anyways, it's hideously out of date, and I've gotten permission from Steve
(thanks man...:)) to try and update it. Well... I don;t have a whole lot
of books of my own, and most of what I do have are older books... So... I
can't do a whole lot of updating myself.
However, that's where you, the Shadowrn Mailing List come in... I get you
to do my dirty work for me...;]
I'm looking for names of companies and corps that are mentioned in any
official (or semi official) SR Sourcebook or Novel that says that they make
products for these Goods and Services... thus, if a novel happens to
mention that Saeder-Krupp made a particular brand of Dishwasher, mark down
SK as a maker of Household Appliances! get the picture?
This could be an interesting list to compile, and will defeinately aid in
fleshing your world out...:]
