Hi
FoF has rules for White Phosphorous grenades. If I remember
rightly HAFLA is a red phosphorous launcher (one shot about
2 (?) feet long) so you could use the rules from FoF I guess.
Does anyone know if red phosphorous burns with the same intensity
etc. as white? i.e. will it do the same damage and produce
the same amount of smoke?

No. White phosphorous burns considerably more vigorously than red
phosphorous. Red phosphor is stable in air and water, and requires fairly
high temp. to ignite. White phosphorous self-ignites in the presence of
water or air and burns at a considerably higher temperature. I'm not sure
about the smoke.
