Hey I was just thinking about the Race Priorities for characters.
I use the optional priority for Metahumans - The one where Metahumans
can have priority C. I was just thinking, what about making B and C
mean something. I don't remeber a discussion on this topic, but I could
be wrong. The initial thoughts I had were for B - Paranormals of
low power (Shapeshifters and Ghouls) and A - Paranormals of more
power (Vampires and such).

Any thoughts?

On Todd's idea about making up new races to be assigned to the Race
priority slots of A and B: fine by me, but. My principle feeling about
this is that any new races must not have supernatural or magical powers,
like most of those in Shadowrun. No dual nature beings or anything like
that. What in my mind would be acceptable would be new races with
"physical powers", i.e. claws, dermal plating, multiple limbs and the
like. This would give the race an advantage in melee combat but not much
else. I think it would be too much to allow PC's to cause accidents at
will. These types of powers are too much. I also believe that the
totally spectacular should be reserved for mages and NPC's.
