Just wanted to ask everyone their opinion/ruling on two judgement calls
dealing with metahumans and their natural sight abilities...

1) If a metahuman gets replacement cyber eyes (standard practice for a
sam'), would he lose his natural "extra" sight??? My opinion would
be yes; if a meta wants replacement eyes, it's their choice...

2) If yes to 1, if a meta then included their "extra" vision type in
the cyber eyes so that they still (sorta) have it, what vision
penalty/bonus category are they in??? My opinion would be either
they are considered natural or maybe half way between natural and
cyber; the reason is that their brain is used to interpreting the
images in that way from birth (basically the idea that if you give
someone who lost their eyes new ones, they're going to be able to
see just as well as they used to (assuming the eyes are as good))...

Of course they lose the natural functionality. ][f you cut off your
hand, would you lose the use of your fingers?

List essence. Meta's get no "bonus" because they had special vision.
Operative word there: HAD. Stick in cyberoptics with ][R/UV and he
pays for 'em. Just like chopping your arm off and putting a cyber arm
on in it's place. You've had an arm your whole life; too bad, cough up
the essence.
