So, if goblinization were to happen NOW,
what type of metahuman would you be?
(humans are accepted options too, but you got to say why)

And Why?
(please elaborate as much as you like. Japanese members may care to
notice that all they say on this matter may affect their being sent to
metahuman concentration camps. :) )

I'd be an Elf. I've already got the tall, skinny
build, all I need are the damn ears.

Im going to be a Dwarf.

Ok, even if by Mexican standard I'm tall (1.80), white and hairless, for my
cousins of my mother side and a German one I'm small, brown and full of body
hair. As genetical joke my grandfather was redhead so i have a bunch of read
hairs in my beard so I qualify as a dwarf ;-)

If I were a Metahuman, I'd probably be an Ork... probably some weird variant
that isn't discussed in the rules. Except I can't figure out how I'd end up
with an Intelligence of 6 (Cerebral Booster, perhaps?). Just kidding...
even when imagining, I end up going for the cheese. :-)

Type: I'd have to go with either human or Ork.

Why: I'm not a skinny and elf like, but I'm not really
huge or anything(I know a couple women who would
definately be trolls and they could smack me around
like a red-headed step-child). And I've noticed that
one of the first things I think of when I meet people
is if I could pick them up and about how far I could
throw them... It just might be my violent tendancies
though (and my Chris would definately be an ork and
his brother Dave a definate elf, he is twig like).

Hate to say it: Troll.

I'm 6'2" tall and weigh 17+3/4 stone. I used to play Rugby and still
have the 'padded' physique about me. That'd count as troll, No?

The bit where that falls down is that I'm not a '-2 intelligence' kind
of guy. And I'm hardly slow, years of computer games honed my reactions
quite nicely...

I know one person who agrees that he's an elf, and one orc, and one
Monkey Shapeshifter (he looks SO much like a primate). I also know one
vampire (He's been known as POD, Prince Of Darkness, for as long as I've
known him), and a few dwarves (anyone significantly shorter than me with
a beard ;) ).

Also: How many humans do you know? You know: People who are too plain to
become metahumans.

I'd imagine an elf; I'm pretty thin and cheek bones would go down a treat.
I could not imagine me being any other metatype if I'm not. I am also way
to breakable to be anything with body or quickness bonuses. Failing Elfness
I'll settle for being a human; I've managed it so far.

*chuckles* 6'1", 160lbs. You tell me what I'd change into. ;)

Altho, technically, (and this is purely from memory), elves and dwarves
don't goblinize. They are born. Only trolls and orks goblinize...

Actually my best friend is dating a leprechaun...I've
told him several times and I ask my BF how the elf's
doing...I really should call him by his right name,
but I can't bring myself to do it, but partly because
of me he won't ever wear green.

Today I went around my English room asigning everyone a metatype and you
really can tell what folks would be. There is a guy in my group who played
an ork decker until a few weeks ago and I really do have trouble not
thinking of him as an ork - in the best possible way. There is another guy
who plays an elf-looking human who does not act elf-like and he does fit the
elf physique without being a big whimp like me.

You can also pick out flaws; I most definatly have a gremlins-one flaw. I
know they are based on real life but even the abstract ones...

Yeah. Although there are some people who don't look like anything. The
funny thing is that I actually know an amorous dwarf (you know you want
to play that ;). Anybody hear read Terry P.?) a goth dwarf female (a
number of them actually), and a number of elves and trolls (tall/skinny
or those of a similar build to me) although orcs do seem pretty rare.

Not many people are ugly enough to be orcs...

LOL. My archetype is Trollish Decker definitely. I don't know about much
else character wise... Perhaps a coupple of matrix edges. Flaws? I
dunno. I may have the helpful-gremlins _edge_? Things tend to work in my
presence... I could take a CPU out of a system while rubbing a balloon
against my shirt without any threat of damaging it.

Too ugly to be an elf, too tall for a dwarf, and not enough karma pool for
a human. I'd probably be something a bit more exotic than just an orc or
troll, but who knows?

Another interesting question is what totem you'd have if you were a
shaman. Mine's elephant, but I forget why ;-)

What totem would you have if you were a shaman:

In the real world a lot of Pagan folks already have totems. I am a Druidic
practitioner. I am affiliated with a Goddess, The Morrigu, who's totem spirit
is Raven. Raven is primary for me. I also have subspirits of Frog/Phoenix.

I don't know... Something wild most likely, although I do live in a
city. Perhaps something at home in either? I'd really have to look at a
list...

PS: Is there a totem of the Haggis? ;)

Actually: As lots of mythical creatures have been brought back to life,
is it possible that the humble haggis could make a return? :)

Okay it was the tourist trade that first created them as creatures, as
opposed to magic's first spell on Earth, but surely some sort of
'risidual tourism magic field' could create one? :)

I dunno... I've always thought of myself as good at detecting, I've got
pretty good hearing and am the only one in my family who doesn't need
glasses. so it'd be a +2 detection totem... I have also, in the past,
removed myself out of some tight spots with a couple of lies, so
manipulation might be in there too... Perhaps Illusion?

I'm not really that up on the magic...just a generally
basic idea... but I believe I'd go with Dolphin. I
love to play, help people and make people smile. I try
to be care free (not doing very well while I'm at
work) and I love fish (to raise, not eat). That and
I've always had a thing for dolphins.

I think Chris would want to be a wolf shaman, but he
would probably be more of a grizzly bear... he comes

Haggis,...fermented sheepsgut,...ate it once because I pride myself on
trying every sort of food once,...but if you don't mind it'll stay with that
one time for me...

Ah yes, who couldn't love those multiple rapists and casual murderers of the
sea?

I'd probably go with Kookaburra, and I won't tell you why :?)

I think I'd have to say that if I were magically active in the Sixth World,
my totem would probably be Lizard. I may not be wise but I do enjoy
watching the world go by... :o)

Is THAT how the song goes? Gotta love the English language. It occurred to
me that there is no word that I can think of meaning "Really good" that
didn't originally mean something else, usually something negative.

Some of the less publicised traits of dolphins, they will rape eachother,
even baby dolphins from another species, they are also heavily into sex,
they are good at hand jobs (flipper jobs?) and homosexual acts. I have seen
a film of a group of young females luring a male of another species away and
then taking turns with him. He probably sqeaked his conscent though, so
that's ok.
They are also killers, I saw footage of a group in Loch Ness (yes, they do
live there) playing with a seal. They were tossing it in the air and barging
into it and stuff. It died, but not quickly. They also kill eachother,
usually dolphins from other pods. They reprimand their own young by pinning
them to the sea floor and blasting them with ultrasonics at point-blank
range. In National Geographic years ago there was a report about a group of
male narwhales that gored a female to death and continually raped her
corpse. In their defence, this was highly unusual behavior for the animals,
for one thing they usually don't use their horn as a weapon, there may have
been something in the water making them psychotic.
On the whole, though, they are beautiful, majestic and friendly. Don't get
the wrong idea on my view of dolphins. Just don't ask about what I think of
lions :?)

Actually, I don't know exactly why to tell the truth, I just like
kookaburras.

This is known as the Leading Comment. I could voice my opinions for weeks
using this trick, and justify it by saying that people keep asking. It's a
good GM's tool :?)
