FOCUSSING
Now this one, could be extremely deadly when used in the wrong way,
but in my experience, I have never seen a mage cast a spell that
will cause him real damage (no huge fireballs for example, a silly
spell at the best of times). This allows the mage to throw all his
will behind the spell, but in doing so, he leaves himself completely
open to drain.

When a spell is focussed (again, a new name would be nice), the
casting mage may add his Willpower dice to the success test to cast
it, these extra dice to not count towards the Magic Pool Limit.
If casting multiple spells, the extra dice are divided just like
Magic pool.

Once the spell is cast, the mage suffesr the FULL normal drain for
the spell and may not resist it.

It is worth noting that a mage cuaght by a man-based spell while
Focussing may not resist that either, his willpower is totally
bent on sending his own spell, the other caster still has a base
target number equal to the focusser's Willpower, but the Focusser
may not use Willpower Dice to resist (though I believe shielding/
dice may still count).

Now this one is dangerous to both target and caster, but it does
allow the caster to do those huge, self-sacrificing spells that
occur at the end of most of the SR books; 2-XS, etc.

This is for huge-selfsacrificing spells at the end of the books,
therefore you are going to cast huge fireballs. This is a last ditch
thing, and shouldn't have rules. This is one of the GM calls and
dramatic events. You are going to die or your group will be wiped out if
you don't kill major bad guy. You say I am going to pump everything into
him not thinking of myself, the GM makes a call, either boosting the
spell or just killing the bad guy in your blood magic induced spell (that
would be what it would be), then the GM decides on whether you live.
Don't make rules, because this is a last-ditch thing and not something
you are going to want to do a lot.
