Centering is available to Physical Adepts. Masking is not--how can you
disguise something you can't even percieve? Some GMs allow Masking if the
Adept has Astral Perception.

Some GMS (like me) allow Masking for PAs even if they don't have Astral
Perception, just so long as an astrally perceptive third party helps them
to learn it. My reasoning? The average person can't percieve the amount
of blood passing through the capillaries just below and in his skin directly,
but he _can_ (by using an intermediary - such as a stress dot) detect it
indirectly and, after playing with biofeedback and relaxation techniques, he
can learn to control the subsurface bloodflow nonetheless. There are
plenty of similar examples, of course - biofeedback techniques in general deal
with learning to control normally imperceptible bodily functions. As your
aura is just as much a part of you as your hand is, I see no reason that
similar (or even identical - "masking your aura" could just be the metaphysical
description of what modern scientists would interpret as entering a specific
meditative state) techniques couldn't be applied to control it.
