Ok, answered below...

Ok, I've looked it over myself (the original mail was a first writing
attempt at it).
One of the sections I changed was the spirit T# changes. Essentially, if
you go across a plane where the spirit is welcome, then your link to it
(or the link between your friend and it) doesn't make it harder for you to
pass through. If the spirit is unwelcome, then it's definitely harder to
travel through a plane with the 'smell' of the spirit upon you (or your
companion.
Sometimes, the nature of the plane itself makes it harder for a spirit
to exist - hence the variations available.
I'm sending Ilya the new write-up. I think it's got the kinks worked out
of it and takes away the chances for a mage to blow 30 karma and have 3
places around the world he can Teleport to for just about free.
If anyone wants it, mail me at:

Note: When I e-mail from home, an automatic garbage address is put into
the 'from' header. Don't use [R]eply.

No, I don't know Ilya, have never met Ilya, and didn't pay Ilya anything
to say that.
