I would like to point out that prospective artists should probably
take this with a grain of salt - I see this vote as being representative
of the *kind* of thing that people want to see. If an artist comes
up with an idea that isn't listed here and does a good job, I expect
to be able to vote in favour of it on the final ballot...

Just wondering - where did you count my combination vote/writein?
(For the record, I liked several ideas and combined them - here's the
message if anybody cares:

Almost 2 to 1. Closer than I'd expected, to be honest.

Agreed. Or, if an artist comes up with a killer design regarding one
of the "losing" ideas, I want it to be considered too.

I think it should be. I think that what GRANITE was trying to do was just
narrow the list of ideas down to a few, so that the artists would not feel
like they were doing work for nothing.
