more so and they were guarded very closely. To protect themselves, they
answered to another name, because if another discovered their real name,
it could be used against them.

Its unfortunately late, but I had an idea on the BABY issue while voting
today:
A BABY number indicates you are an SR3 owner (and presumably player).
Some people don't own (or want) SR3. Why not allow such indications? If a
name could be followed by a BABY number OR edition (or editions) of choice,
the shirt would actually offer some useful and interesting information.

Edition of choice would work for me. SR3 all the way, incidentally.

I LIKE THAT! That way, those who weren't able to get the BABY could still show
that their interest. I know all my friends'd ask "why don't you have a number
after your name?"
Do SRIIs have edition #s? If so, people could put THAT number on the shirt.

What about the ones that play SR3, but don't have a BABY?
Sorry, but the whole BABY number idea is just a bastarized version of
the line between the proverbial "haves" and "have-nots".

BABY Number, or
SR3, or
SR2, or
SR1, or
BHRTMIITPSWABYOGG (Bastardized House Rules That Make It Impossible To Play
Shadowrun With Anyone But Your Own Gaming Group)

That's why someone suggested putting your edition of choice on the shirt
too.

There's still plenty of time to decide specifics about the list of names.
First we need to decide IF we want a list of names. I kind of do but
would buy a shirt regardless.

Damn I wish I thought of this sooner: Granite, the vote should have asked
"Would you buy a shirt that didn't include BABY numbers? (Y/N)" and
"Would you buy a shirt that did include BABY numbers? (Y/N)" as two
seperate options and go with the one that would sell the most shirts. (I
would answer Yes to both)

What are prevented from doing or having because you "have-not"? Nothing.
If I meet you on the street and we start talking SR and I mention that I
have a BABY, are you going to bite my head off and rant about oppressing
those who did not get a BABY? If I sound like I'm being fecetious (sp?),
it's because I see no merit to argument. So what if you don't have a
BABY. I would have liked a Hardback SR2, but I didn't have one and never
had the chance to pick one up. I never bitched about it. When the new
edition came out, I did what I could to get a hardback (Thanks to my
bennefactor in that case, btw :). So what? Are you going to whine
everytime BABYs are mentioned?

Mongoose: Btw, was your proposition to include after the name SR1, SR2,
SR3, or BABY ... or SR1, SR2, SR3, BABY #...?

BHRTMIITPSWABYOGG should be an add-on to the edition notation, IMHO :) In
which case I'd be #81/SR3/SR2/SR1/BHRTMIITPSWABYOGG...

No you won't, not if I have to fit it on the back of a shirt. But a simple
SR123#81 would be OK by me.

Ohhh.. that's a good idea.

I'll post a full SR code (Ala Rob Haydens Geek Code) tommorrow.

Only heard about it for 30 seconds but I already have tons of ideas :-)

It looks like an SR-geek code-style thing: Mongoose doesn't play (or maybe
like?) first edition much, but sometimes he does; he plays second edition
a lot, and third edition less so. I'm guessing 365 is his BABY number, and
the "pt" I don't have a clue about...
