We used to have a problem with military armour. Everybody wanted it (We
didn't get any though, 240000 nuyen for a heavy suit on the street was
more than we could afford at the time).

We then made a rule to make it less attractive: Normally (meta)humans are
signature 8 when using a vehicle weapons. Since the armour is essentially
vehicle armour we reduced the signature to 4, same as a medium car. This
made it a lot easier for enemy riggers to blow up the players. Now they
settle for the good old Full haevy suit (8/6) instead. Still a pretty big
armour, but manageable. (we Are playing a high power campaign mind you)
