military in Shadowrun", I thought about one of my recent posts where I made
the remark that the ratings system was out of whack.
Here's yet another example. The skill sets needed to operate military
hardware reflect a skill of an "average user" for said device in most cases,
with the exception of the Aztlan upper-level operatives (the Leopard and
Jaguar guards). I also think it's kind of odd that the skill levels just
don't seem to reflect the concept that a military person is going to need to
operate a piece of military hardware (something that I have always been led
to understand is often fairly complicated with regards to the electronics
and engineering fields).
So what I'm suggesting is that perhaps the skill levels and the "security
ratings" come somewhat more into parallel with one another.
