Hi!

In the discussion about an optional character creation procedure, I
noticed that both Minotaur's and Ogre's were listed as player character
races. Are there any rules for playing these kinds of characters, and if
yes, where can I find them?

The Minotaur and Ogre are European phenotypes of the standard
Troll and Ork metahuman races respectively. They are found the the
Paranormal Animals of Europe sourcebook as a sort of aside. As far as
game mechanics goes, they use the same stat modifications, vision
enhancements, etc as normal orks and trolls, they just look different.
There are probably different cultural ramifications of this kind of
goblinization as well, but the book doesn't really go into that.

Minotaurs and ogres are in the European paranormal critter book. They are
a regional variation on Orks and Trolls. Basically, an Ogre has the same
stats as an ork but is a little shorter and more heavily built. Ogre's
also have more pronounced tusks and almost no hair. Minotaurs are the
same sort of thing, only modifying Trolls. They are a little
shorter...more heavily built...covered in a thin layer of fur, tend to
have pairs of upright horns and slightly animalike faces. Other than
their appearances they are mechanically the same as orks and trolls.

I don't know where in the books you can find them. But Minotaur is a
genetic variant of a Troll that has a perfectly simetrical body. An Ogre is
a genetic variant of an Ork, slight more physically attractive than an Ork.
Both Ogres and Minataurs have the same bonuses and penalties as their
counterparts.

There's two ways of doing this: 1) buy/beg/borrow/steal Paranormal Animals
of Europe, which says an ogre is an ork in game terms, but looks different,
and a minotaur is a ditto troll; 2) download/copy NERPS: Shadowlore, which
has game stats for ogres and minotaurs, making them new PC races.
