Does anyone have any more information on the AI Mirage (Matrix p152). He
sounds really cool but there are only pitiful scraps in the book.

The book... Psychotrope (SP?) contains his "birth" along with the
production of the first 5 adult otaku.
The cover has a zombie wearing a hangman's noose talking to a gargoyle with
lightning arcing between the pillars in the background. (It's a matrix
meeting that's in chapter.... three, I think). I only got about half way
through it, before Mirage showed up and I had to return it.

Well, it's been a while since I read Psychotrope, and I don't have it with
me, but...

One of the otakus Mirage created is the daughter of the boss of Shiawase.
And in "Year of the Comet", she's been betrothed to the new Emperor of Japan.

Oh, and did I mention that she's infected with HMHVV? Though the virus
hasn't activated yet thanks to some massive gene therapy or something...

That's right - at some point, we might get the Otaku Vampire Empress of
Japan in the Shadowrun universe! Hopefully, they'll publish "Shadows of Asia" at
this point...

Ghost help us all. Luckily one of my PCs already killed her off (not that they know it
yet) so I can cut that portion of text from the sourcebook and burn it while someone uses
Cleansing metamagic.

What, you mean you expect Shadows of Asia to get published -before- 2011? ;)

Are you sure it was her? I do remember that one of the 5 otaku was infected
but I thought that it was the rich guy whose on the cover that was infected,
since he is a Ghoul. Besides, she could just be a carrier and the virus is
dorment. But if she has any kids.......................

So there was Red Wraith, Blood'n Guts, the Ghoul, and the Kabuki girl. Who
was the fifth?
