No essence and showed as black in astral space? It could be some sort
of masking technique. That would mean that your friend was a high level
initiate. The other possability I thought of is really scary. A black aura
means evil or death. If you could not detect any essence it could be some
sort of demon or negative plain entity. Give me some time to research further
and I'll have a more definate answer for you.
Dunkelzahn????? Will the real shadowrunners please stand up? It probably
isn't a smart idea to use that name? You never no who might be on the net.

Where to begin...

PhysAds really aren't Hermetic or Shamanic, but either of those can come up
with a good approximation thereof...Blindside, latest 120-karma version, has a
tri-spell lock with Inc. Reflexes, Personal Combat Sense, and Inc. I
ntelligence...gives him a Combat pool and Initiative just shy of the party's
speedfreak sammi.

I agree with the only one metapower per initiate grade, since you get enough
just for being an initiate zero without throwing a drekload of extra abilities
in. This way:
1.higher level initiates are considerably more powerful than low-level
ones.
2.PC's have a BETTER reason to save up for that next initiate grade.
3.REALLY high level initiates (Major NPC's) can be granted Deus ex M
achina powers if necessary. Teleportation, for example. (never kill off a good
villain, even if you hafta bend the rules to let 'em escape. What would life be
like without Tirandor, for example? Villains keep the world interesting...)

This is a test. The last two items I've sent out over the list have
come back with nothing printed on them. I am sending this in an
effort to figure out the problem. In the meantime, if anyone recieves
this would you kindly email me at gbuckmaster@*********.com and inform
me so that I know something is working. Now onto SRun related stuff.

Is anyone on this list currently active on Dave Hyatts Shadowland web
site? I've been active on it for a couple of months and love it to
death, it's great. But I've noticed that I can't seem to log on to it
in the last two days. My connection keeps getting refused by the
server. Anyone with any info please post it, I know that Dave has
been having trouble with someone who hacked his site a couple of weeks
ago and I'm wondering if this is another outbreak of that. Anyone
interested in the site, its at http://www.shadowland.org and is quite
good. You will have to apply for access (takes about 5 minutes) and
then you're all set.

OK, all set. Like I said, anyone getting this message in its
entirety, please let me know so that I know my machine isn't tweaked.
