Hi guys!

I can imagine this question has been here before but I am new to this
list so please forgive me.

When will MITS come out? I tried to get the information from various
sides but to no avail.
The FASA homepage is worth sh*t (please excuse my foul language here).
The last update on that matter is from December 1998, for weeks they
are promising a sneak preview but nothing yet.
Amazon.de thinks that it's already published (there is even a review
yet ;-)) but they say that they need 3 to 5 weeks to deliver it.
Fanpro (the FASA license owner in Germany) knows nothing but they
probably get the information about it from the same sources we depend
on.
The only information I have is that some six weeks ago the text was
finished and all that had to be done was the layout but that is
probably just a rumor.
So, does the ShadowRN community have some more information it can
share?

TIA, MadEagle

I had occasion to talk to Rett Kipp recently and his best guess was the end
of April.

Regarding earlier recommendations to talk to him to clear up ordering
problems: His customer service was excellent and they not only expedited my
original order but threw in a complementary copy of MITS for the trouble ...

Should this turn of events transpire I will be completely satisfied and
have no compunctions about ordering from them again.

Very soon. It has (allegedly) been "put to bed", meaning that all that
needs to be done is get it printed and distributed, which seems to take
about 3-6 weeks, depending on how fast your source gets it from FASA. Don't
be shocked if there is some snag, but if you order one now, you should have
it in a reasonable time.

Last Thursday Mike M said it had gone to the printers the Friday before. I
imagine it should be any day now, but there is no telling.

At last I knew MITS was at the printers a couple of weeks ago (end of March)
and Mike M. said that it would take about a month for the books to be in the
pipeline to the suppliers.

As for the problems with their website, that's another story entirely that
even I don't know the entirety of.
