qutie a while now. It started out orginaly for Half
Life then moved over to Half Life 2. It seams after
reading some posts in some mod comunities I ran across
some legal warnings as what you should and shouldnt do
when it comes to creating your own mod. This had me
thinking and put a halt to the very little I had
completed at this current moment. ( mostly due to
lack of time in the past and a hard drive wipe also
forgeting to back up the hard drive before formating
it.) So what im trying to get at is what can be done
if any thing to keep from having any of the compies
such as Microsoft, Wizkids or Fanpro come down on me
like a ton of bricks? Keep in mind this isnt even
close to having even a beta out but I like the idea so
I would love to finish it some day... So before going
on with the project I hope to finish someday should I
email Wizkids/Fanpro directly..or even dare try to
reach Microsoft in this? The only reason im curious
about this is im aware there are mods & muds out there
that bare the Shadowrun logo ( sorta speak). Such as
Deckeon and another mod that I think may still be in
the works for Never winter nights.( Or not im not
sure. I mean if some how I did get permission I dont
dream trying to sell the mod in any way shape or form
I have a new kinda motavation after seeing the Xbox
360 version. I know its kinda ironic trying to mod a
First person shooter after seeing what microsoft has
done with its version of shadowrun. I would like to
think I could try to put the RPG element back into the
game and maybe possably make it better? This of course
depending on what HL2 is capable of. Any ways any
advice would be wonderful and thanks for your time.

SR game)
