This isn't a Semi we're talking about ... The Bergen is HUGE. I'd
estimate that it is at least 2 stories tall. If Jon Szeto is paying
attention to this thread, maybe he can shed some light?

Agreed, whole heartedly, but unless there are overhead structures at
the 2nd story level there is no reason that the Command Module (and
only the CM) couldn't negotiate the main thoroughfares of the outer
districts of the Megaplex.

It would, IMO, have 4 wheel steering (independant?) giving it a
tighter turning radius. But it's size would still require some
traffic control to avoid hitting other cars.

And as I said before, you are not going to sneak one of these things
around! :)

<SNIP>

IMO, it would take up more than one lane which is a no-no generally
speaking :0

Which is why it would need a traffic control escort, as I've said
before.

According to Alfredo B Alves, at 14:40 on 1 May 00, the word on the street

Dig out your RBB and look at the size of the door on the side of the
Bergen in the picture on page 36... IMHO, the thing's wheels are at least
2 m diameter, and it has six of them. Taking that as the wheel size, I'd
estimate it at 8 m long and 4 m high (width is impossible to judge, as the
picture is a side view).

as i mentioned ealier, the Bergen Command module is roughly on parity with
the dump trucks used in open cut mining.

ie f**king huge.
