OK everyone. You know those looney characters that turn up in Nyx Smith's
novels as a secondary plot. (Who Hunt's the Hunter) (One other novel I
have read but can't think of the name right now) Monk and Minx....and a
whole network of others.

You know the ones who seek out nearly dead bodies and breathe life
into/out of them and have real red fiery glowing eyes...and get a real
kick out of doing it too...what _are_ they????!!!!
Some sort of monster, a spin off of the HMVHH (or whatever, you know
the Vampire virus thingy)?

I would really love to know or hear any theories from you'se.

They're something the author thought up and don't really have any
parallel in any of the 'official' source material; though they
seem to be some kind of essence-draining being.
