Bonjour +AOA- tous...

Merci d'avance

Hello everyone...
I just came back to the sixth world and stumbled upon some datas =
regarding +ACI-Monsieur de Fontainebleau+ACI- in France and I had the =
strange feeling that was not the first time.

Does anybody have any datas upon this guy?
Except for the mentioned ones in the France sourcebook..

Thanks in advance.

I don't think I've ever heard of him - I could be wrong, he might be
mentionned in a shadow comment somewhere or in one of the books I
haven't read, but he's not a major figure at least.

Ah - the France sourcebook was only ever published in France, AFAIK, so
hardly anybody else has a copy. As I recall, it was one of those
sourcebooks that wasn't actually published by FASA - so it's pretty
unlikely that he'd turn up anywhere else.

With the ISBN, though, it should be possible to order a copy from just
about anywhere else in the world. I'd probably try to get myself one, if
it wasn't for the small problem that I wouldn't understand 75% or more of
it :)

Unless FASA publishes a Target: World book (or whatever they'd call it).
Mike Mulvihill mentioned last GenCon that if they'd do a book like this,
they'd probably base it on the material already written under license.
OTOH he also made some remarks about the France sourcebook that made clear
he wasn't too thrilled with its contents :)

Thank you for answering me anyway James.

You see, I was quite sure that I read about this character in one ofthe
others sourcebooks or in the SR novels...

See you...

Well, it might have been one of the novels - I've only read the most
recent half dozen or so (Dragonheart and on). I haven't read *all*
the sourcebooks either (heh - I still don't have my own copy of
cybertechnology :-) )...

Did he mention why he didn't like the contents of
this sourcebook ?
I maybe not a SR hardcore gamer, but I 've known
this game for quite a long, read all the novels
about it and some others sourcebooks; and I didn't
find "France" uninteresting.
It is perhaps less dense than 'Tir Na Nog' for
example, but it's very open and - for people
knowing France that is - can lead to great
scenarii I think.

But as I said, obviously, american people may find
it too small for them. ;)

I believe it had to do with some over-the-top things described in the
book. Isn't this the one with the vampire hunters?

The US is too big :)
