Actually, I don't even know about that...
From the novel Worlds Without End (I know some of you don't like the
novels, or specifically don't like this one, get over it. This book is
more or less the definitive guide to Immortal Elves, such as it is...),
there is bits of info you can pick up... (I haven't read it in a while, so
my memory is sketchy)
Basically, the IE were able to store up some power during the low mana
period. they did exist in the world, and it's been hinted at that at least
one of the various IE's were involved with, or actually were, some of the
most important people in history. I think they were still forced to use
some of there powers to look human. this would require only a minor amount
of power to sustain.
And it explains how the Elves were able to build the Tir's so quickly...
they knew the new Age was coming, and were ready for it, and ready to "take
over".
I'm not a big fan of the IE in general, as they become an over used plot
device. But I *DO* like them. But there involvement should be kept to a
minimum...
Did that make any sense?? I'll shut up now...
