As an interesting note, it's funny that you compared Dunky to JFK. Wasn't
there a few comments and bequests in Dunky's Will relating to JFK??
Here's a thought.
We don't know what the Dragons were up to during the "down times' of Mana,
but here's a strange thought that occured to me.
I'm not a big Political Buff or History Buff (The stuff bores me, frankly),
but... What if Dunky *WAS* JFK? And that the assasination (as well as teh
current one) were planned?
After all, to some extent, JFK's assasination was Good for the country.
Not in the fact that he was killed (That was a tradgedy, IRL), but it
helped solidify teh country behind a cause, and JFK became a Martyr of
sorts. Dunky's Death has done the same for a fairly volatile UCAS (to some
extent. it's still Volatile, but with him dead, certain factions that
would have been against him are either sidelined and neutral, or now
helping the government due to teh magnitude of the assasination).
We know the Dragon was VERY manipulative. Even if he's not truly dead, I
doubt we'll see him resurface (at least not in a recognizable form).
Ahh well... As I said, I'm not real fond of politics or history, so My
assumptions may be off a tad. Hash it out and have fun with this
particular theory,...
