]Actually, the mosquitos don't consume the blood; it's used to feed their

Hmm, so would the 'mother' send out (for lack of a better term) troops of
her 'young' to get blood for her? It'd be a concept, neh?
]Perhaps if spirits could "spawn" other sub-spirits, then blood-sucking
]would make sense. As it is, spirits don't really seem to need
]corporeal nourishment, at least as we understand it. Also I'm not sure that
]the "queen" concept really applies so well to mosquitos.
Or perhaps the 'flesh form' needs to be 'refreshed' in some way? Needing
oxygen (or plasma or whatever.) Just a concept.
