Thanks to all who answered my question about fetishes it helped. I have
several others, but a few pressing ones. First of all, how does one
communicate with an on-site team during matrix overwatch? Does the decker
use a commlink like everyone else, or do they use whatever is available
in the building? I'm sure it says somewhere in a book but since I'm an
airhead music major it's hard for anything to get pounded into my head
outside of Handel, and Mussourgsky.

Secondly, if a decker has two seperate programs on a run, one with a
higher rating than the other, and she runs one, it fails, than tries the
other, is their a +2 tn? For instance, if a decker runs a Sleaze 4 on
Barrier IC and fails, then tries a Sleaze 5 is there a +2? I know they
are two different programs, but isn't the overall effect the same?

Tercero, has anyone done a write-up for Dingo as a totem? If so could
someone tell me what it is? If not I was thinking it would be sort of a
cross between a Coyote, and Wolf. What do ya think? Oh, and Dingo isn't
on Wigley's list of Totems.

Thanx,
C.M.

Well, here's the options I thought up for the decker running via cyber-link:
1) signallying real-world runners via slave modules (turning lights on/off,
etc.) or by i/o ports
2) use a normal or cyber radio (but this gives a +2 TN mod. to all actions and
one subsequent action due to actively concentrating on the real-world)
3) use that electronics(b/r) and fix up a radio connection to a hitcherjack
port (no more +2 TN mod.)

In a word, yes. So when ya see that IC, go for the big guns! Unless, of
course, you're getting into some load problems and all those other tricky
situations from the VR sourcebook.

This is up to the decker. They can interact with the outside world while
jacked in, but have a hard time at it (+8 TN to notice outside stimuli, for
example). Perhaps a way to do it is wire a commlink into the cyberdeck and
let the decker run some or another utility to use it?

I'd say this would not use the +2 modifier. You're executing two different
programs as far as the game is concerned.

I think there is one in NERPS: ShadowLore, but I'm not sure.
