grave sin of skipping forward and reading a page or two. *That's* how much
I'm enjoying this book.
Since hardly anyone has posted back, I'm guessing people are holding off
until they get their greedy little hands around the book. Check you hobby
stores, I'm not sure the big book stores have it out on the shelves yet.
BTW, another kudo to Steve, that I forgot last time. One of the things I
enjoyed in early Shadowrun were the quotes that prefaced every chapter.
While they seem to have gone missing for the most part, I think you brought
them back for the novel very well. Some of the foreshadowing is a *little*
heavy handed, but they are by and large excellent quotes.

That's more than enough. Guess who else is popping up in the book? Two
great dragons! I haven't figured out what the role of Hestaby is yet, but
Lofwyr has got a streak of mean in him a country mile wide.
Here's the major spoiler: Lofwyr somehow captures Leonardo and captures
him, destroying his lab.
Read that again.
Also, it turns out that Leonardo stole that nuke from SK and painted
Vatican stuff on it; the Vatican doesn't have nukes!! It was a ruse to
convince the runners to side with Leonardo.
Damn. Technobabel, as near as I can tell, totally closes down nearly
everything from Black Madonna. Totally gives that novel the shaft.
I'll be finishing the book by tomorrow afternoon, and I'll come back on
Monday with any new spoilers I find.
