term is) Ron and Valerie Taylor, possibly it was called Shark! but I'm not
sure now. Anyway, in the book it says that deep sea dredgers pull up the
giant great white teeth regularly, and some of them look "Quite fresh". Who
knows?

Mako (he says, twisting the subject so he can show off again) is polynesian
for 'shark', it was probably another one of those things where the explorer
came along and said "Hey big fella belong island, what do heap big chief
call that thing chop chop?" Then the poynesian said in his language "That's
a shark, stupid."
They pronounce it 'Marco' though, not Make-O.

Erm... pretty sure that shark is tiburón (that's an o with an accent mark,
in case it got messed up in the encoding). Don't remember stingray.

Okay, I know shark in Portuguese tubaraõ. It will be something similar in
Spanish. (I can't find my Spanish/English dictionary) I don't know about
stingray.

According to Babelfish (http://babelfish.altavista.com):

english -> spanish -> portugese -> french -> german
shark -> tiburón -> tubarão -> requin -> Haifisch

Stingray always comes across as "stingray", so it might not be in
babelfish's dictionary.

Easy to figure out.

Interesting considering that this is also the name given to the largest
shark to ever swim the oceans in prehistoric times. Something on the scale
of the the Great White from Jaws-3, but built like a Great White and not a
Whale Shark.

Hammerhead, and one of only two-three species of sharks to actively patrol
the ocean in packs by the way. And the ONLY shark to be seen traveling in

pack-oriented for short periods of time. Nurse sharks are the only other
shark that immediately springs to mind as remaining in "packs" of any real
size for more than merely food related reasons.

The isurus oxyrhynchus is the Shortfin Mako, they have been the cause of
38 recorded shark attacks since 1553, they are the 6th most dangerous
species according to the numbers of attacks stated at the URL below:

There is no first name even close to Ilinous and there is no
Ororstopoulos surname in Greece at least (just finished checking the
phonebook for sure!)

My guess is that he tried Ellhnas (greek national citizen like we say
American, Mexican etc.)
and Orestopoulos (which still doesn't exist but could have anyway)

makes as much sense as Stratesmiounn Dadams! :)
Non english speaking countries have cope with this drek all the time!

The old phone book i alway take the one of the country im visiting to give
names to my foreign characters but now im using the yahoo find people :-)

It's very good stuff, as always is a book that was not write by a "Mexican
citizen" and have something that didn't check and things like that. I'm now
in a effort to "clean" something. We are not rewriting but using the home
knowledge to explain what happened or justifying why the thing that the book
tell happened. Is like a Neo anarchist guide to Aztlan or a New Aztlan
source book. We are doing a great effort to maintain every word that Findley
write about Aztlan in gratefulness of his efforts to bring the most real
portrait of "our country"

Well that is a very difficult question that belongs to a huge post I will
try the simples answer and from there you can ask. 50% 50% I explain If you
have the Asb (Aztlan source book) You will know that Aztechnology isn't the
Mexican spirit is more the dark side spirit of Mexico, a conglomerate of the
Government, the narcos, and the PRI structure that anything else Is the
image of corruption (social speaking). SO Azltan Aztechnology could happened
and are part of our spirit. If Aztechnology could make us a world power (As
FASA present) lots of people will support it. Lots of my friend said, "cool
we are a world power we don't care if we are the bad guys". The imperialist
thing also i buy it, Aztech was very imperialist, and the mexican beside
been a peace loving country we have our good war history, 20 years of
independence, 24 years of revolution and a lot of military conflicts. We
have a vision of the dead very different. So I can said we will love to made
war and winning. Theres olaso the "Light side" of the mexican spirit (I fell
like Star Wars) The freedom fighters, the Mexican, the acceptance of all
sentinel creatures as a Aztlan citizen.. etc.
The pact with the "Demons" I see it very possible. We did it with the
Spanish (a long history lesson). Blood magic and human sacrifice? Very like
it.


In My personal point of view I hope my grandchildren died in the Yucatan
jungle fighting for freedom, or running the shadows as Mexicans. I will like
to see that FASA made a great internal conflict between the parts of
Aztechnology. Hope Oliver McClure is part of a plan to erase the "they are
the evil ares are the good". For reality terms he could have a lot of
support if they intentions are correct to the people (as I said to my
gringos friends you are not Mexican because you born here you are Mexican
because you love Mexico) even the worst of the "horrors" in Mexico (Read
PRI) have some good people from time to time.

I once played a long campaign involving the Yucatan rebellion!
My favorite character "Wiz" retired in the Yucatan helping the guerillas
against Aztechnology!
But he started out as Greek so he couldn't have been your grandchild!

There was a string some months before but nobody could get decent info.
Tlachtli was it called. Did the victors really take the estate of the
people who watced?
Were they sacrificed (the winners or the losers)?
what were the rules?

If one visited the Mexican shadows, what kind of fashion statements
would he see that would diffrentiate the Mexican srunner from any other?
Aztec or contemporary...

Are mexicans as spirited and ready to fight as they are portrayed in the
supplements?

what kind of religous significance do feathered serpents have

No as far as I know but let me do some research the ball game is not only an
Aztec tradition a lot of civilisations do it as a religion thing.

Aztecs the winners. It was a privilage to be sacrifice to the gods not a
punishment.

Remember that Aztlan society is a retorn to the root wana be. They dont
folow exactli the paths of the aztec but they interpret what they like. so
the way i see it.
Contemporary but with aztec fashion here an there. I see many kind of shadow
fashion. Must of the shadowrunners and almost all of the shamans will have a
tattoo of the day you born. Is something like the astrology. Im Gemenis in
astrology but Caña 2 in mexican astrology. It wont predict the future is
more like a totem relation like to catolics have a cross. A lot of strange
hair cuts. a lot of no hair in the head with tattoos. Street gangs with
Aztec paths in the arms or in the ankles. Days in the year that only the
sinless born because corpo parents use cirurgical procceds (cesarea?) to
hurry up a birth so the boy didnt born in a "bad day". Something like the
sarapes but must like FASA describe not like the real thing. A friend of my
have tatoo but arms as a jaguar and put little draws that represent a mexica
legend. I almost forget lots of people change the (grip) of his weaponds and
put something with a draw in it. Is where you hold the weapons you have
"cachas" with horses or with an eagle eathing a serpent (national shield).

Well the answer is a rotund yes. Thats why we love peace soooo much. because

spain in the center of the city. Yes i have travel to USA, Spain, a one day

Believe me, I have read more than my share of books about alot of
things.
Books don't tell you these things unless you have psychic abilities! >:)

Btw, I don't think Ahuizotl has any communication problem!
If he does, I sure can't seem to have a problem communicating with him.
