Well well well.. my players has got this sudden mania for magic...
three physads and one full mage. (And only four players.). I think
they plan to make a magical group.. with four of them it might even
make a little sense. Ok enough.

The physads have different areas of specialization.
One is a swordsman (with ok stealth and athletics, imagines himself
'the world's finest swordsman' - he's actually a rather pathetic
bastard. (Japanese, the university's (mindless & arrogant) prime jock
kind of guy. (Was needed for the kendo team, and got 'brushed' past
the exams.. he was there to be the university's physad sports jock.
His bloated ego couldn't take being rejected by a girl, so he left
for Seattle. (Strange background but kinda cool. :)

One is a tunnel rat. (small guy, flexibility and athletics
as main powers.. a little firearms for combat.).
One is a .. streetsamuraiish physad (High firearms, smartgun, stealth
etc.).

The mage is a doctor.. (Cybertech, biotech, biology as main skills,
treat and heal as main spells... used to work in a british clinic,
a chrome bit he installed in someone malfunctioned, (due to manuf.
error, but the corp sued him to hell for malpractice to cover its
blunder.. poor, disillusioned, he fled the court to seattle, using
his magical skills on a less hippocratic road.).

Okay, that was a quick into on the chars. The two I was thinking of
expanding more on is the two with longer descriptions.

You see, Mr. Morion (Meaning mask in italian, incidentally) will hire
them for a few jobs.. perhaps some wetwork but usually pretty
straight stuff. (I think they won't take wetwork easily, these guys,
which is even better.). When he finds out they are skilled, Morion
will arrange a few tests, then want them in on a medical experiment.
(The mage is asked to assist.. his skills are actually pretty
invaluable to something like this.). The experiment is to create
a kind of disposable assassins - pretty strong & skilled 'ninjaish'
people that follows orders mindlessly. They will succeed, if they
try. (Using the skills of the swordsman for 'blueprint'.).

They will do a few jobs more for Morion, finally he will ask them to
do a *very* 'wet' job.. if they refuse, he will turn against them
like a good megalomaniac and turn his resources over to destroy them.
(Including a large number of mindless assassins they've helped
creating as a 'test' of his masterpiece...:). If they accept.. um..
tough shit. They're a bit too callous for my taste, but I guess I
could handle that too.

If things go according to plan they end up fighting someone that
knows them, and that they helped bring to 'greatness'. Ought to put a
nice twist on things.

How does this sound?

Any suggestions, ideas on subplots, anything?
Anything on the construction of those disposable assassins? How good
should they be? Expensive to 'make' ? Difficult?

I think you should have Mr. Morion get them to make an initiate
group and have them adhere to strictures pledging loyalty to his corp.
Give them a lot of "initiative" to join because they will have luxury
resources. But if they want to get out, you know the Grimoire rules.
Otherwise, you should give them a way out too.

Well... I thought about it, but no. Not the kind of image I wish to conjure.:)

Cool series.
