Ghost Who Walks Inside, or Ghost Maker, or just Ghost.

Ray.

Just this evening, I was watching E! News Daily rather passively until the
words "movie...Shadowrun" graced my ears. Shortly thereafter came the words
"criminals." Apparently, there's is a movie, by the name of
"Shadowrun,"
which will be in production soon. Now, I'm thinking that movie has
little/nothing to do with our beloved RPG of the same name, but I can't
help but wonder: has anyone heard anything about this? I recall the rights
to a movie being sold a while back, but I'm not sure... Any and all
comments? (Oh, and please don't let this degenerate into a "Who would play
who in the SR movie" thread.)

Actually... And Dvixen touched on this briefly in another post...

The owner of the Remmy/Lucifer story from VR1.0 has been approached by a
company interested in making it a movie. It's still VERY much in the
discussion phase, and they're still discussing how much of Shadowrun will
end up in the movie (Strip away a few Copyrighted terms, like Matrix, and
you've got a neat little story that takes place in "Cyberspace", or
whatever.).

Who knows what will happen with it...
