for a couple of players who couldn't make it for a couple of sessions due
to class load. One of the other players had this physical adept
character that was pretty bad on the speed munchkin end of the
spectrum. He'd had beta wired-3 installed and spent his remaining magic
(all 3 (?) points) on more initiative dice. Lord God, was he fast. I can't
remember exactly what his initiative was, but it was something like 12+6D6.
He routinely got three or four actions a turn, which got real interesting when
he got his hands on a light machine gun (the GM was using the most of the
optional rules from FoF, so you have a STR 6 person holding a gun that
has several recoil-reduction mods anyway. He could rip off three or four
multi-round bursts a turn and not be faced with any recoil mods, which
was nice when we stumbled into an insect shamen hive building).
