Sorry, but this *got* to be a joke! Did you look under "Emik Darkfeir
(NPC)" ? All attributes are 25, the skills are as high as 100! Under
"Flaws", it reads "Huh?"! Well, if he's a *real* munchkin, he topped
the ones I know with ease... ;-)

(BTW: I just asked myself "Why would this npc even *need* stats? If
this is what the players call a challenge... oh-oh...")

You know, the concept of statless (NP/P) characters, especially in a
cyberpunk setting, is really obnoxious. In a fantasy setting, as a god,
that would be ok. In a cyberpunk atmosphere (SR is not really a cyberpunk
setting, but it IS in a cyberpunk atmosphere), a core element (IMO) is
that no one is untouchable and everyone is replaceable. It may be hard as
hell to knock off a given person; nearly impossible, but it is still
possible. If it happens, there will be far reaching repercussions, the
stiff will be replaced, and the machine will move on. The replacement may
be better, worse, or about the same. The replacement might not perform
the same function, but

On the other hand, if this were ALL the character in questions skills, and no
attempt was being made at the character doing/being capable of anything else
... then yes Bruce, I'd agree with you.

Maybe instead of a rant, we should actually make some kind of constructive
list of requests and submit them to Mike M. But instead of sending it one
or two at a time, we should have some kind of listing of what the requests
are and how many people have signed up that agree with them. There would be
much more of an effect if it was signed by 30 people than 1, let alone if
everyone on this list signed off on it.

To start:

1: A while ago FASA said that they would post material that got cut out of
sourcebooks due to space on their website. Simsense rules would be a great
example o

I see Widow's legacy preseeds her.

There we go. The ultimate way to keep secret things secret. It's all on
8-track, or here's one better:

"...recovery several beta-tapes. Widow? Another question?"
"You mean a new style of recording information that hasn't passed quality
