Unfortunately, munchkins are like rats. You find one, you're bound to find
a bunch more. Munchkinisim is also interbreeds. So I've gotta geal with
that. The rest of the local crew just snickers when we bring up the
character. Part because of the character, part because of the player.
Mostly we just let it ride, mainly because my attitude has always been
"There's always SOMEONE out there who's better, badder, and willing to
pound your face in."
>As you may have guessed, team (not game) balance is a great concern for me;

That last line reminds me of a gaming house rule that a friend of mine
uses. "Nobody may be more anebriated than the Game Master." (hee hee!)
Comprende. Man, I can't tell you how mady AD&D games I dropped out of
because I was 1st level (with nothing) partying with 10th level people (Who
were dragonslayers...) I like that idea of adding karma to new players.
But I've never played in a game that lasted long enough to warrant this.
All the local GM's are leniant with characters, meaning I can bring my
character into Bob's game, then Mark's game with no problem.
>Wow, I didn't mean to go off that much. Tyger, this wasn't a flame, thwap,
>or anything else. It started as a question, and segued into a justification.
>This is just my own personal GM philoshophy. All other GM's rule their own
>way.

>I WOULD like an answer to my question, however.
I hope that helped. No, I don't hold grudges. I just bring my paintgun
and crank the velocity to 5000 FPS (joke. Humor. I really don't do this!)

(It sucks being sick on the 4th weekend. You can't sleep, you can't eat,
and you can't see the 'works. Feh.)
