what a mundane gets out of magical skills:

Magical Theory: Very frustrating spell design TNs

Conjuring: substitute conjuring for Stat in resisting spirit powers (Try
Awakenings for this or G2. SRII book says 'magicians' can do that, but
it is expanded elsewhere) Conjuring (VERY RISKY and QUITE unlikely) free
spirits with the True name known.

Sorcery: Nothing, unless sent through an Astral gateway (by a free
spirit, e.g.) And then maybe use in astral combat.

Enchanting: Talismongering concentration is fully mundane, no TN
penalties, etc. Artificing and Alchemy not possible.
