Well, it is the last day o the year and I would just like to say a few
things:

This is the year that I started working in a computer lab; I finally am
getting paid for all that time that I spend on the Internet. I highly
suggest that you make friends with your local sysadmin and get yourself a
job in the local lab!

This is the first year that I have went without a SO. Nice little
break. An entire year of being able to hang with whoever I please,
staying out late without having to check in, and general freedom. It was
a nice little break; and now I WANT A DAMN GIRLFRIEND!!!! *ahem*

This year was one spent doing far too much of what I have to do and far
too little doing what I want to do, so next year will be onw spent
playing SR, perfecting my outside shot, and learning to play bass and
sing at the same time (quite a feat if you haven't tried it).

This year was the year that I was introduced to Comedy Central, perhaps
the greatest drain on my time this year. The good thing however is that
it lets me rip off some good comedy lines.

And, finally, this is the last year that I get moody and reflective at
the end of the year. (I know that I said this last year. So sue me!)

Have a great '55!

Except for getting paid for 'netting, your life sounds not unlike
mine -- especially the bit about Comedy Central. (Just what the Hell _is_
Sampo, anyway? -- MST3K fans will know.)
And, of course, the bit about wanting a girlfriend -- I lost mine
on Monday (after 6 months and some-odd days), and if I can't have her back
I'm due for a break, I guess. But I sympathize -- six months and some-odd
days ago, I was in the same boat.
Have a good life, chummer. We who are still on this list, no set
NOMAIL, are either the truly blessed, truly obstinate, or truly needing a
life (perhaps all three.)
