Ok, stupid question time... I've been playing for about 3 years, read
almost every source book and novel. Now, I've seen this reference I think
two other times. What is a minotaur in Shadowrun? I don't remember them
from anywhere... I know what they are in other games, but what are they
from in Shadowrun?

Paranormal Animals of Europe: Appendix 2 (page 122). They're a
Mediterranean expression of the troll meta-type.

A minotaur is european version of the troll. Orcs are called ogres in
europe. Check out the germany sourcebook.

There are 2 kinds of SR Minotaurs.
One is a critter. It's an awakened man-eating bull.
The other is nothing but an odd looking Troll. Some troll metatypes around
the greek area UGE'd into a distinct body type - two symetrical horns,
elongated nose, dark, almost furry skin. They call them minotaurs. Same
thing with Ogres. Those are just smooth orcs. No different rules or
anything, just a diff. appearance.

Stats for the Ogre and Minotaur meta-races are in Paranormal Animals of
Europe (appendix 2)...see my other response to this post elsewhere.

Two places: Paranormal Animals of Europe, and NERPS: ShadowLore. In PAoE,
they're another kind of troll, using the same game stats and stuff but
looking a bit different. There's also ogres in there, which are like orks.
In SL, minotaurs and ogres get racial modifiers unique to them, but then,
that's not an official supplement.
