Actually, this was all part of a plan by immortal elves, the eventual
purpose of which we have not yet seen.

But some people on this list would have us believe that these
residents of the Salish-Shidhe are actually Anglos themselves who had an
Indian ancestor back in 1700. So why would they be so pissed off at
Anglos, if they were Anglos themselves!!

Quite a few. You can get in without it, but you have to have a
settled tribe 'adopt' you. This happens a bit, usually when the one who
wants in greases the palm of the tribe. Maybe 15% of a year's
immigration is Anglo(my estimation).

<shrug> I don't use the Tir books or anything...;)

I'll look in a friend's book, it's not here now. It lists a %, I
think of Anglos.
