I'm tempted to see if/how these are addressed in SR3, but I'll leave that as
a hint to TWWTGC...

Am I blind, or are there actual usable rules somewhere buried in SR1 through
SR3 that give prices for doses of Narcoject toxin, or possibly Neuro-stun
grenades (I'm convinced that this one is just a fantasy of mine)?

After a quick run-through (read: lazy assed) of SR1, SR2, SSC, and
ShadowTech (cap 'T' on cover, lower-case 't' in the text), I could only find
p147 of SR1, and p62 of SSC giving any reference. Curiously missing from
SR2, but SSC revised (corrected 3rd printing or so) is post SR2.

Am I stupid, or was Narcoject intended for the dart-guns, and neuro-stun
intended for gas grenades?

What would you charge for doses of these obscenely useful pharmaceuticals?

More research: 60¥ for a Neuro-stun VII grenade in a table of ShadowTech.
Woo!

Okay...shoot me. I found Narcoject too. But I wanna use it in an Ares
Squirt! While I'm being a baby...What does SR3 have to say on the topic?

Okay, first of all for the blank posting. For some reason my computer has
aquired massive lag.

Within the "Beyond the Shadows" portion of the SR3 book, the rules for Neuro-
Stun VIII (Gas or Organic Binder), Narcojet (Injected), Gamma-Scopolamine
(Injected), Fugu Family (Injected or Eaten), and VITAS-3 (Disease-Aerosal
Virus); are given appropriately. There are no costs or the like that I could
immediately find in the text, with either the initial descriptions or within
the Gear section of the book. Nice stuff though, and when combined with the
BTL costs and information in the gear section, definitely re-opens some old
areas to me.

Doses, yes. Either in BBB or Street Sam. Can't remember which.
But GRENADES? I don't remember anything about Neurostun grenades.
(If they do exist, they must be in Fields of Fire, because I haven't got
that, or Lone Star, 'cos I haven't read that in quite a while.)

Hmmmm. I was hoping that they'd go a little more into detail on this; one
of my NPCs is going to use the stuff (Narcoject) almost exclusively (Thadis
refuses to kill; I think he sees it as beneath him somehow). He also will
be using it in an Ares Squirt, but since he's NPC, I don't guess the costs
are going to be that important....

But they would be for PC's. Incidentally, I'm insanely in love with both of
these particular toxins. They are the ultimate tool for a professional
shadowrunner (but being smart with the real boom-booms don't hurt either).

I like the fact that I found an errata (as I perceive it) within SR3 before
I even have a copy in my widdle hands. (I've been accused of being
psychotic...er...psychic...)

Anyway, p 112 of shadowtech:

narcoject rounds: conceal 8 : 200 nuyen : legality crap here

p113 of same:

Explosives/grenades:
Gas (Neuro-stun vii) : conceal 5 : 60 nuyen : legality crap here.

From Spike:

>But GRENADES? I don't remember anything about Neurostun grenades.

From me:
orgasmic happy happy joy joy (yet pissed that SR3 is already broken in my
opinion).

Now, to get them into an air-timed mini-grenade version....

NS7 and Narcoject are listed in the "toxins" section, but the only
complete delivery system in the gear chapter is the NS7 gas grenade.
