I have a little favor to ask. Does anyone live in New York or Seattle?
I ask that because I need maps of those two towns and I do not know wher
to get them. If anybody know where I can find some(in Montreal, Quebec)
or could send me some, I could send you the money by mail.

Anyway, if anybody is interested, could you email me?

Thanks a million.

Actually, Montreal, being a fairly metropolitan city, probably
has a library of decent to excellent calibre. Most libraries have map
sections that have just the kinds of things you're looking for. I know
many of the libraries here have detailed US Geological Survey maps of
most of Michigan and road/street maps of cities all over the world.
Plus, if your library doesn't have it, they can probably borrow
it from another library. Just a few thoughts to consider...

AAA has many. That's where I got mine, with numerous notes scribbled all
over them.

Mine didn't come with any notes on them - do you think you could
send me a copy with notes... <untrustworthy gullible GM look>

<evil grin>
Thanks Gary.

Actually I get mine in the mail:) All you have to do is write a postcard
to the following address and request information about traveling to Seattle,
Washington State Tourism
PO Box 42500
Olpmpia, Wa 98504-2500

They are very helpful and include travel information, a state map, lists
of tourist sights, festivals, restraunts, etc. If by some strange
coincidence they don't send you a map (request one there FREE) I have an
extra one about. Also
I have written for information from other places including New Orleans,
Texas, New York, etc.
In fact as I think of it, every state has a page on WWW, and a place to
drop e-mail requesting tourist information. The last information I
requested was from Conneticut, it took 8 weeks to get though.

As a native of New Orleans, there are a few things I'd like to clear up.
(BTW I'm not from Louisiana, I'm from New Orleans. Figure it out)

*We do not have a system of underground caverns. The whole place is
below sea level and some stuff on the lake shore is reclaimed land (I'm
sure the Netherlanders here know about that)

*I have never met anyone who practices Voodoo or heard of anyone being
under a hex

*We don't keep pet alligators or ride skiffs to school

*We don't all speak French or have Cajun accents. We sound more like
New Yorkers (my girl friend thinks I'm a Yankee; so what if we did
surrender to the Union during the Civil War?) and I have no French in my
ancestry which goes back to 1774 in the New World.

Just a little rant. :-)
Any questions?

My appoligies, I hadn't thought I'd put that in my posting, of course there
is no way there are caverns and caves, unless there underwater and mud, you
live in a delta area, which means there is a lot of swamps, and good farm land.

I know there is some voodoo (I mean it's an urban-myth , right?) , but
Santaneria is probably much much more common.
By the way White Wolf magazine #34, Jan-Feb, 1993 has an excellent article
on SR and Voodoo. I guess if anyone wanted, I could condense it down a bit.
(actually a lot it's a BIG article)

Yes, I have a question. When in my campaign, the runners had an adventure in
New Orleans, I allowed them to get to some areas on the outside of the city
by boats. I guess I had assumed there were lots of piers, docls, etc.
How accurate is that assumption?
Are there lots of regulations regarding boats ? (speed, etc.)
Thanks,
Kay
