Take it from someone who takes Kung Fu, and has been hit with a
club, staff, three sectional staff, etc., and a club should be equal to
a staff in damage, it just doesn't have the reach (anyone who doubts
that hasn't taken a glancing blow to the skull, or a good rap across the
knuckles, when they were too slow, and not where they were supposed to
be <ouch!>]
