Hiya Bull!

I'm having a duce of a time with these other two lists... Apparently the
addresses I have for them are either old or just plain inaccurate...
Since I hate missing ANYthing that might be cool, interesting, useful,
etc.... Could yah do this country girl a favour and post the right ones
for me? (And for anybody else out there's had difficulties with those
guys...)

As the NERPS Project Leader, I think I'll answer at least part of this
question. From part A of the NERPS FAQ v5.40:

2. How do I subscribe to NERPS?

To subscribe, you must send a control message to the mailing list
processor at iTribe.net. To do this, send email with the following
parameters:

TO: listserv@********.itribe.net
SUBJECT: <leave blank>
MESSAGE TEXT: subscribe nerps

In a little while you should get email instructing you how to confirm your
subscription request. Simply follow the instructions and you will soon
start getting regular postings.

I don't have any idea what popped this memory up.... but.....

<FADE TO BLACK>
<Music starts to play in a familiar was as multicoloured spotlights
illuminate the title as the voice over says....

THE INVADERS!!!

A Quin Martin Production....

Starring Roy Thinnes as Architect.. David Vincent...

<The real, moody music starts to play>
<A Deep voice over begins....>

The invaders.... Alien beings from a dying planet....

David Vincent has seen them.

It began one lost night on a lonely coutry road looking for a shortcut, that
he never found....
It began with a closed, deserted diner, and a man too long without sleep to
continue his journey....
It began with the landing of a craft from another galaxy......

Now David Vincent knows that the invaders are here....
That they have taken human form...
Somehow he must convince a disbelieving world, that the nightmare has
already begun!

Now add a little shadowrunny twist and place it 10 years in the past.....
(2047 ish)

That *is* old... the lists moved in late October last year :)

BTW, I keep thinking I've "seen" you before somewhere... You're not Ivy in
disguise, are you? *grin*

Ivy in disguise? Me? [looks perplexed] Uhm... no...

I was one of the Shadowland crew until Dave went all Java on us... I ran
Shatterglass and a beast named BrightFires. In the Vampire realms I'm
Autumn... On FurryMUSH I was FarWinter (a black griffin)...

I don't know where else you might have seen me... But I'm not Ivy.

And from another post:

> [looks at Gurth... raises an eyebrow] Nurse WHO?!?....

Just checking... :) You weren't talking to yourself enough to be Nurse
Wratchett, but she (he? they? it?) might have gone semi-sane since the
last time I saw her posts... as for Ivy, somehow you reminded me of
someone who is still somewhat infamous among the old-timer listmembers,
even after almost 3 years :)

BTW, do you know your clock is a week behind?

Yeah... I know my clock is a week behind.... The 10,000 NuYen question
is... WHY?

I'm not sure if it's actually my machine, or the mailserver, or a
combination of the two.... I'm begining to suspect that it's the local
bit of the mail network, because it does the same funky thing no matter
which machine I'm on... My home beast or my office beast.....

Oh well...
