Introduction to the Net Rating Forms
====================================

Introduction
------------
The Net Rating Forms started out on the rec.games.frp.dnd newsgroup
as a means of ratings TSR's highly variable AD&D products. By request
I've expanded the ratings to include other systems and FASA's
Shadowrun setting is one of these.

The Rating Forms are your chance to express your opinion of each
Shadowrun product. Simply give each of the products listed on the
Shadowrun Rating Form a mark out of ten, with 0 indicating a product
you wouldn't use as a door stop and 10 for something you think
everyone in the world should go out and buy right this minute.

As well as the mark section, there also space for you to add
comments. These comments are often more useful than the rating
values, so don't be shy about expressing your opinion.
If you want, there is space after each group of products for you to
comment. Feel free to say as little or as much as you want, it's
entirely up to you.

When you've finished, e-mail the form back to me. I'll collect the
replies and post summaries of the results and some collected comments
on rec.games.frp.archives. If you miss the results, just send me a
note requesting the latest results and I'll happily oblige.

You don't need to actually own these products to rate them, but you
should be at least familiar with the contents. Hopefully, these
ratings will give other people a better idea of what to buy and what
to avoid.

Incidentally, I have no official connection with any game company,
but FASA have expressed an interest in the results of the ratings, so
it's worth noting that your input could be used in determining the
direction of future Shadowrun products.

As always, comments, corrections and suggestions for other systems
you'd like to see rated are most welcome.

Goth.

The SRII basic manual was the best manual I ever owned...:)
The GM's screen is too pricy. ($20CAN !!!) I made my own for less :)
The SSC was not worth the money. Can't really find much more info here
than what's in the 'Sourcebook Updates' section in the manual..

The NAN volumes should have been stuck together...
Otherwise, I liked them all.

Hmm. Hard to find in hobby stores. My group generally make our own
adventures. We do this for all the RPS we play...

Haven't read them yet. I don't like series. (recurring characters are
fine though .)

The fleas trample raccoons at midnight.
The forest runs with cursed blood.
Pass me the MicroFiche.
