Well, "Lostchilde" certainly seems to fit. The thing I did when I
joined two months or so ago was skim through the FAQL, watch for a while,
read the FAQL a little better, post a message or two, get flamed at for
being a dork, read the FAQL once again, and then settle down into my
current, comfortable routine. You'll get the hang of it if you don't act
too stupid.

Hm. You should have gotten it within a few minutes of subscribing to
the list. I'm sure once Fro (the listmanager) sees this thread
you'll be receiving a copy. Sorry if it felt like I was slamming
you. Since you didn't receive the FAQ you don't know what the list
etiquette is yet. However, once Fro sends you that FAQ... ;)

The basics are: quote the posts you're replying too (but only those
parts you're replying too, not the whole thing), 70 column width or
less if you can, no attachments, try to keep posts related to
shadowrn, try not to keep OT (off topic) posts going for more than 24
hours, be aware that this is an international list (keep the slang
and local references down).
