Diamond Distributing (_the_ supplier of Comic Books, and they also
deal in other merchandise, including RPGs) has a listing for the new
Shadowrun Companion in the Feburary 99 issue of their Previews
catalog:

=========Shadowrun Companion Revised Edition

Jack in and download adventure! This is an updated reprint for use
with Shadowrun Third Edition. Because some of the material from the
original Companion was incorporated into Shadowrun Third Edition, this
version contains nearly one-third new information, including new Edges
and Flaws and rules for using ghouls as non-player characters.

Items listed in the Feburary Previews are scheduled to ship in April,
however, on the listing for the companion, there is a disclaimer that
"All information is subject to change, but this item should ship no
later than 90 days past its scheduled shipping date." (This is a
standard disclaimer that Previews uses for many of its items.)

There is also a picture of the cover art, and it would apear to be a
human's eye view of a troll (i.e. looking UP). The troll has a tuft of
white hair sticking up between the horns, and a jawline that puts Jay
Leno's to shame.
