FESTIVAL ARMAMENTS Co. PRESENTS: CHAMBERLINK(R)

Ask ten firearm owners and ask them what they think is the greatest
disadvantage of a revolver. At least nine of them will answer, "The
cylinder, with it large size and small ammunition capacity."
As of January 1st, 2057, Festival Armaments Corporation markets the only
real answer to this problem: ChamberLink(R)!

ChamberLink(R)'s patented system consists of a chain, similar to that of a
motorcycle, and a top and bottom sprocket. The chain is held vertically in
the weapon, going over both sprockets, and in all respects works similar
to a normal revolver mechanism except for the fact that the "cylinder" is
now /flat/! Each link holds one round of ammunition, making the assembly
not larger than a double-column pistol clip!
ChamberLink(R) is available in a line of new revolvers developed by
Festival Armaments to make the best possible use of this new technology.

COMMON FEATURES
All of the ChamberLink(R)-series revolvers share certain common features.
The ChamberLink(R) assembly is built into the weapon's grip, so as to make
the overall dimensions of the weapon smaller than those of a traditional
revolver, in fact rivaling those of automatic pistols! The ChamberLink(R)
system swings out to the left side for reloading, although models for
left-handed firers are also available -- in these, the ChamberLink(R)
system comes out of the weapon to the right.
In all weapons, the ChamberLink(R) system is completely covered over to
prevent the entry of dirt and dust into the mechanism, but a peep hole
allows the firer to observe whether there is ammunition left in the
weapon.

OPTIONS
All of the ChamblerLink(R) series of weapons can be bought or retro-fitted
with a number of special features, if not already installed.
EXTENDED MAGAZINE: with this useful feature, the ammunition capacity of
the weapon can be extended. Note that this is a permanent modification,
it is not possible to use the old ammunition capacity unless the weapon
is converted back.
Cost: 50 nuyen, plus 10 nuyen per extra round; every number of rounds
equal to one-half the normal cylinder capacity lower Concealability by 1
REMOVABLE MAGAZINE: this allows the entire ChamberLink(R) system to be
quickly removed and replaced by another of similar size. With this
feature installed, reloding can be done as fast as in a pistol!
Cost: 250 nuyen
TWO-WAY OPENING: this feature allows the user to select which side the
ChamberLink(R) system will open to. The selection procedure is fully
explained in the weapon's manual, and takes approximately five minutes.
Cost: 150 nuyen
